Wei Yenwu is the head of the bureaucratic snake that's Lungmen's ruling governmental body, serving as both a business magnate and political leader for the city and taking on dealings for their and his own benefit. While he's not directly involved in military operations, he lends support and military backing to beneficial companies that can offer him a good deal for Lungmen's services.
Wei is the best and worst aspects of a politician and a CEO, as he retains the calm and polite air of official company as a front to hide a separate agenda with the benefit of Lungmen and himself at the top above all else. In spite of this, he can often be at the forefront of dangerous power plays that can lead him to a collision course with both his enemies and his beneficiaries.

To start, this is without a doubt the best of your auditions as you full immersed yourself with this character in terms of pitch, tone and delivery. There is such a commanding presence from each of your lines, even when the character is admitting to a mistake, that make him seem invincible and in control throughout your speech but especially in your second line where you give an excellent rendition of a line that signifies power over another. The pitch is perfect, holding to a matured voice that amplifies your already powerful tone. No issues with delivery at all, as you have a clear pace throughout the audition as well as focused inflection for it.
