Spade is a talking cat who helps Cecelia (the protagonist) in her quest to become human again. On his clothing appearance, an actual spade is on his back. He says that Cecelia should be paranoid, considering the vampire brothers(Alfred & Rupert) are trying to use her for their own purposes. He will abandon this idea the further the player goes along her selected route. He is a talking animal, although it depends on who he talks to and his willingness to cooperate with them. He reveals that he's Harold's pet cat. He wishes to protect Cecelia, especially from Alfred. He does not trust the younger brother.
