Freya serves as the deuteragonist of the story, regularly visiting Coffee Talk to draw inspiration for her writing from the stories that other customers share.  She usually orders a triple shot espresso and sits in a corner of Coffee Talk writing away, both for her day job at the fictional newspaper 'The Evening Whispers', and for her first novel about the café and its patrons. As a writer, she loves to both tell and listen to stories, so she will frequently discuss events that had happened during the day. She's quite energetic, so when she feels intense emotions such as surprise, sadness or anger, she can be loud and brash, but she can also easily fall from super excited to down-in-the-dumps from her terrible eating and sleeping habits.

Working as a journalist because it's the best way to learn how to write better, talk to people who have experienced more than you, and get paid for learning things.
