Sigurd is an NCR pilot who likens himself to that of a Viking warrior; the heat of combat is where he truly feels alive. Rather than fearing death, he prefers to be as close to it as possible as that is when he'll be able to attain the more glory a person can hope for. It goes without saying that he's loud and proud. He is kind of crazy, and should not sound like an actual Viking.

For the audition line, you just emerged out of a blitz with your vertibird mostly unscathed and most importantly, victorious. You should be yelling a bit since your still piloting your aircraft and its engines are loud as hell.
