Hound loves a good fight, but despite appearances, he hates the war. Gladiatorial fights are one thing, the extermination of entire populations is another. So Hound straps up with whatever weapon he can find or produce and heads to the front lines each and every time duty calls. 

While many hate "Age of Extinction" and "The Last Knight" with a fiery passion (and rightly so in many instances), the one thing both films did right was the casting of John Goodman as Hound. His enthusiasm brought a smile to  my face each and every time he was on screen, even if it was a far cry from the G1 version of the character. While sound-alikes and impressions will be considered, the big thing to go for is the enthusiasm and over-the-top nature, with the capabilities to turn darker should the situation call for it.
