(Slightly annoyed): "Four hours for one cup of coffee..."
(Calm, yet stern): "You must be the troublemaker living with me for the next 6 months...listen don't cause me any trouble, got it?"
(Explaning): "This is where you will be staying the next 6 months, I know its a bit of a mess, but, you will have to just clean it up..."
Hey man! Love your voice! You do have potential however, the background noise does make the audio quality a bit difficult for editing. What microphone are you currently using!
Thank you! I apologize for the poor quality + noise, I don't have a professional mic, so I'm using my phone's mic as an external input device for my PC. Recent events have stalled my attempts to get a nicer one, but I'll be trying out other devices w/ mics in the meantime!
Ahhh ok it sounded to me like a PC mic, but that is ok, like I said we are all practicing VAs here. So my honesty and I totally understand your situation currently, its a crazy time for us all finically...have you considered starting with a Blue Snowball mic? They are $50 which maybe a bit pricey but it is the mic I started out with when I was getting into voice acting and as long as you clean up the audio and get a pop filter...they are pretty great! Honestly you have a really great voice for these types of characters and if had a good mic, projects would swarm to you! Little tweaking with emotions, but you have the voice!
Also don't feel you have to rush the lines which I sensed toward the end of the audition! Take your time with characters to get them just right!
