Fallout: The Frontier Master Casting Call (Fallout New Vegas DLC Sized Mod)
TaylorPatrickMullen for Dell Castron
A revolutionist, strong supporter of the ideals of worker's unions, and miner, Dell Castron is aiming to overthrow the leadership of Salt Town, due to its brutal treatment of him and the other miners for the goal of maximizing profits. He is loyal and kind to those that feel the same way he does but merciless to those who'd prefer to work with or live under the rich. He will stop at nothing to ensure his fellow workers aren't trampled and are respected.
Record all audition lines while referring to the notes below for each line and do one take of each line.
For the first audition line, you don't quite know the courier yet, so you are rather suspicious of his/her intentions. It's not the time to revolt yet and you don't have any official power, so you're only being cold and distant, rather than downright hostile. You'd rather maintain a low profile for now in the eyes of everyone.
For the second audition line, the courier has proven him/herself to absolutely support your cause towards liberating the miners. You are divulging your creed and life's mission here, particularly, what you did when you were still a human. Your only regret is not fighting harder against these monsters and would do so again eagerly if given the chance.
I told you, I'm Dell. I'm a simple miner who wants to live his life in peace, that's all.
I fought against places like this, fought against worker inequality. My enemies were the 1%, the haves, the bourgeoisie.
The rasp more so resembles Batman's growl than a ghoul rasp.
Understood. With that, is there anything else I can improve upon?
Heya! As we're not having the ghoul rasp be applicable to the character anymore, I'd say performance wise, it was pretty solid. I do have to say it sounds like you were running out of breath when you are listing off your past enemies in Line 2. You also could have come off slightly colder and somewhat ruder in Line 1.
After listening back, I 100% agree. Is there any way I can re submit the audition? Also would you like me to focus more on the notes with the line reads themselves as apposed to changing the voice? Or would you like for me to try a different rasp?
Go ahead! We accept re-auditions provided there's possibly room for improvement and it's submitted before the deadline.
