Former Brotherhood of Steel member and current Crusader, Hector Clements is a man shaped by the aftermath of the NCR Brotherhood war and his own personal trials of being fatherly and goodhearted; the amount of trauma he's suffered and to see those that he cared for so tenderly to be so viciously destroyed has made him a shell of his former shelf and develop a drug dependence.  He is a physical juggernaut who values athleticism and military attitudes.  He truly sounds like a mentor and former champion looking to raise a new generation of heroes.

For the second audition line, so much time has passed since you first lost your way that admitting to this doesn't feel difficult anymore. It's just a sad and regretful fact of your life that you've come to accept.
