He wanted his country to help America fight the Soviet Union, but the Soviets had two nukes nearby that kept him, as well as Germany and Great Britain, from fighting. His country was too afraid that they would use those nukes on France like they used them on Chicago. Fortunately, Tanya, along with some spies, GIs, and crew from a plane that crashed near the nukes, managed to destroy both nukes, and allowed France, as well as Germany and Great Britain, to join the Allies.
