Lusamine is the president of the Aether Foundation and the mother of Gladion and Lillie. As Aether President, she uses her organization's vast resources to focus on Pokemon conservation and her ultimate goal is to make a beautiful world for Pokemon and Humans alike.

Despite having a noble goal, Lusamine has dubious ways of achieving it and has had a rough past as well. Her husband disappeared into another dimension years ago, and she went crazy trying to protect Alola (and the world!) from any kind of catastrophe. She developed a "god complex" and used the Aether Foundation's resources for sinister means. She hired thugs to terrorize Pokemon so she could "save'" them and be a hero, she freezes Pokemon in stasis so they can "be beautiful forever",  she became obsessively controlling of her children, forcing them to run away from home, she ordered for a new ultra-powerful Pokemon to be created out of the body parts of other Pokemon, and that's merely scratching the iceberg of how far her sanity and rationality have been pushed! She does all of this under the guise of wanting the world to be "beautiful" and "safe", but it's clear that her reasoning has been twisted by the grief of losing her husband.

In the present day, Lusamine has mostly sorted out her baggage. There's still a bit of her controlling, overbearing, "loving" nature that shows up on occasion, but she's in the process of becoming better. Unfortunately for her, Team Buddy has returned, which means that Lusamine's dark side may just return as well...

Lusamine, as a character, demands perfection and beauty, and that's what I want to bring to her voice-acting wise. She's a bit on the reserved and haughty side, but can get conniving and sultry on a moments whim. There's also times where she embraces full blown insanity, so that needs to seep into her voice a little bit. Below I've linked a few reference clips for what I'm looking for "sound wise" for Lusamine. Obviously you don't need to match them 100%, but think of them as guidelines for making this crazy, "loving", goddess-thinking woman to life.

Daybreaker/Evil Princess Celestia (Upon further research there's actually an official "Evil" version of Celestia: Daybreaker!
