There are many words you could use to describe Pierce: Talented, a fierce advocate and staunch defender of his clients, loud, obnoxious...childish. As a person and candidate, he is a walking concoction of these volatile emotions, and perhaps more. Constantly mindful of the robots that could be in his presence, Pierce never shirks what he considers to be a solemn duty: applying the 'Mein Kampff' test (a name that combines his brother's love for history with a not-so-subtle reference to a film about androids and electric sheep) to any person he deems even the least bit 'suspicious'.
NOTES:
Compared to Nat, Pierce is much more open-ended in terms of 'acceptable' ranges of voice. Jace (the previous VA) was basically in the centre of that 'range', which we really liked. However, any approach should be okay as long as they are able to capture both his serious 'lawyerly' side, as well as his immature persona. In fact, we would actively encourage this more broad approach to his voice.
(Contemplative) The silent treatment eh? Perfect! Administering Mein Kampff test! Hmm…involuntary dilation of the iris, fluctuations in pupil positioning as the eye moves within its socket…and flexible eye movements too! You must be an exceptionally advanced model. Your humanity even earns a passing grade!
(Assertive) OBJECTION! Your Honour, the evidence speaks for itself - the opposition's claims are nothing short of perjury! In fact, their entire case is little more than a farce!
(Immature) You heard right! I told you to collect *other people’s* underwear…not mine! How awkward would it be if I could only steal my own heart?
