Appearance:

Venna appears to be an innocent 7-year-old girl on the surface, with big, bright eyes and a face that is usually wide-eyed with a mix of curiosity and longing. Her small frame and soft, childlike features make her seem harmless, but there’s a subtle intensity behind her gaze that betrays her true nature.

Her hair is long and white, often styled in two puffy ponytails or braids, and she typically wears dresses that are either cute or frilly, often in pastel shades—something that mirrors her youthful appearance. However, her clothes are sometimes mismatched, as if she can never truly make up her mind about what she wants to wear, reflecting her internal desires and uncertainties.

Venna’s small stature and adorable face make it easy to forget that she’s the embodiment of envy, but when she looks at something she craves, her eyes gleam with longing—a glimpse into her deeper, more complex emotions. She has a tendency to sulk or pout when she feels left out or overlooked.

Personality:

Venna, despite her young age, is the embodiment of envy in its purest form. She is constantly comparing herself to others, and if she sees someone with something she doesn’t have, whether it’s attention, toys, or abilities, she feels an overwhelming need to possess it. Her desires are often childish—she just wants what others have, even if she doesn’t fully understand why which leads her to copy others.

While she can be sweet and innocent at times, Venna is highly competitive and can throw temper tantrums when she feels she’s not being treated fairly. She doesn’t always understand the intensity of her emotions, but she feels them deeply, and it’s easy for her to spiral into a moment of envy if someone outshines her.

She’s very manipulative without meaning to be. She uses her cuteness and childish charm to get what she wants, and she can be surprisingly calculating in getting others to give her what she desires. Venna also tends to hoard things, as she’s never satisfied with just one toy or gift—she needs them all, and she might even try to hide them away to prevent anyone from taking what she has.

Her tendency to compare herself to others makes it difficult for her to form genuine relationships. She’s prone to being jealous of others’ achievements or possessions, leading to moments of isolation or bitterness. Yet, being young, she doesn’t entirely understand her actions and might even feel guilty or sad.

Venna has moments where her childlike innocence shines through, especially when she feels left out or when she just wants to fit in. She is also vulnerable to praise and attention, as it feeds her sense of self-worth. When she feels validated, she might briefly forget her jealousy, but it doesn’t take long for that familiar feeling to resurface.

Backstory:Venna was born from the very essence of envy, created when humans first started comparing themselves to each other. The feeling of wanting what others had—whether it be material possessions, looks, or accomplishments—was so overwhelming that it created a being who personified those emotions. Venna exists to fuel and perpetuate this deep desire for comparison, covetousness, and jealousy.

As a child, Venna has a simple understanding of envy, but as she grows, the complex emotions of self-doubt, insecurity, and desire will likely evolve. Her role is to cause rifts and divides between people by reminding them of what they don’t have. She sows seeds of discontent, making others feel like they’re always falling short, always needing more to be happy or validated.

Venna’s biggest struggle is her inability to recognize what makes her unique. She is so focused on what others have that she can’t appreciate her own strengths or abilities, leaving her constantly wanting more, but never satisfied with what she’s given.

She is assigned to a little boy whom she loves to spend her time following and unknowingly torturing as he keeps trying to develop himself and copy the bigger kids around him, but is forced to throw every idea away due to the fact that she keeps copying him. They have a difficult dynamic and the main protagonists have to deal with the challenge of mending that relationship and attempt to help the boy become his own person.

Abilities:

  1. Jealousy Inducement:
Venna can plant seeds of envy in the hearts of others, making them covet what they don’t have. She can amplify feelings of jealousy in others, causing them to want what someone else has—whether it’s a relationship, an object, or an accomplishment. The more she focuses on someone’s insecurity, the stronger this effect becomes, making people question their self-worth and desire what’s out of their reach.

  2. Mimicry:
Venna has the ability to mimic the appearance or abilities of others, temporarily gaining their skills, traits, or even their possessions. When she sees someone with something she wants, she can copy it to the point of becoming indistinguishable from the person, which drives the envy even further. However, this ability comes with a weakness: she can only hold onto these imitations for a short time before they begin to fade, and the feeling of inadequacy always returns.

  3. Hoarding Aura:
Venna can create an aura around herself that makes her feel a constant need to collect things. Whether it’s toys, praise, or admiration, she draws in everything she finds desirable and hoards it. This aura affects those around her as well, making others more prone to hoarding their own desires and refusing to share. This creates a ripple effect of jealousy and selfishness wherever she goes.

  4. Envy Projection:
Venna can create illusions that reflect the things others want most. These projections make people see what they’re missing or desiring, often inflaming their jealousy. For example, if someone is envious of someone else’s wealth, Venna can make that wealth appear in their field of vision, causing them to focus solely on what they lack and fueling their envy.

  5. Tear of the Envious:
Venna can manipulate tears of envy into a weapon. When she cries, her tears become manifestations of envy, able to curse or weaken others, making them feel overwhelmed by their desires and jealous of everything around them. Her tears can be used to corrupt others’ minds and make them obsess over unattainable goals. These tears can manifest her limbs into Octopus limbs, she can attack with.

Relationships with Others:Venna’s relationships are often strained due to her envious nature. She has trouble forming real friendships because of her tendency to compare herself to others and feel left out or inferior. However, she deeply craves attention and affection, which can make her clingy or manipulative in her interactions. The calmer of the sins spend time with her, unbothered as they all try to raise her in one way or another. She is esecially close to Thraeus.

She is especially envious of anyone who gets more attention than she does, and she may feel threatened by anyone who seems more loved or praised. This often leads to her trying to undermine others or take what they have. However, her childish nature makes her more forgiving and open to change, especially if someone can help her understand her emotions and offer her genuine affection.
