Project Overview
This The Batman Adventures comic dub. Yes, Batman: Animated Series had comic books. We'll probably do;
Superman: The Animated Series
Batman Beyond
Justice League
Superman and Batman, The Joker are taken.
This will be a long term project so there will be recurring roles.
There will be a second list later today which contains villain characters.
And another list tomorrow which will contain extras and civilian roles.
extras and civilian roles can lead into recurring characters.
Recasting will occur if you are unreachable for an extended amount of time. If you plan on disappearing for a bit it's best to inform me.

You don't have to sound 100% like the voice actors who did the character before. And sometimes your normal voice does work. You can also come up with a new one. If you can bring something new to the character then tell me. If you are also a fan of the series let me know that also.

Who is Harvey Bullock?
Lieutenant Harvey Bullockwas a top investigator for the Gotham Police Department who worked directly under Commissioner Gordon. Known for his love of food, he was still quite an effective cop in his own right, although probably not quite as effective as he would like to think he was. He doesn't trust or like Batman, even considering him a criminal at times, but has still teamed up with him to keep Gotham safe on numerous occasions.

Bullock - Look, Dent, I got every available cop on the street bustin' heads, lookin' for leads. I don't need that vigilante pokin' his nose in!

Who is Dick Grayson?
"Hey, no one can be a Boy Wonder forever."―Dick Grayson
Dick is former member of the Flying Graysons acrobatic family in Haley's Circus. Dick and his parents performed nightly with their death defying high wire acts. When the circus came to Gotham City, the gangster, Tony Zucco tried to extort protection money out of the owner, but he refused to cooperate. In retaliation, Zucco sabotaged their high-wire trapeze act, staging an "accident" that ended in the death of Dick's parents. Bruce Wayne, who helped to get the circus to town, was in the audience and witnessed these events unfold. Wayne arranged with Commissioner Gordon of the Police Department to become the 10-year-old' boy's legal guardian.

Dick - So they think you were there the whole time and you can't tell them you weren't?
(Bruce - Not without explaining how Bruce Wayne can clear a ten-foot vertical leap. I know it's morbid, but I almost wish Brenner had been murdered-- at least there'd be someone to catch.)
Dick - Why don't I stop by Crenshaw's and see if I can dig up anything?

Middle Age - Senior

Who is James Gordon?
"Gotta keep fighting, never stop. What I try to live by. Maybe if I'd been younger, I could have been like you. Always wanted to be a hero." — James Gordon
An experienced police officer, James Gordon was also unique among many of Gotham's civic leaders in his trust of Batman.
Gordon was already Head of Police when Batman first appeared in Gotham, and was first on the scene at the tragic deaths of John and Mary Grayson. He was inadvertently responsible for putting the young Dick Grayson in Bruce Wayne's custody, fostering the friendship that would become their partnership as Batman and Robin.
Gordon commanded immense respect and loyalty from his officers, including Harvey Bullock and Renee Montoya, though he often had to contend with Bullock's distrust of Batman.
Over many cases, he and Batman shared information and formed a strong friendship. Their respect for each other was equal: Gordon often felt that Gotham City would fall apart without Batman, while Batman felt that the city needed someone like Gordon watching over it "24 hours a day".

Gordon - Not anymore. They were stolen last night. The thief knocked out two guards and foiled a very high-tech security system. The guards saw nothing, but the thief left a calling card.

Gordon - I thought so, too. I told the British authorities to be on the lookout for her.
( Batman - Certainly a step up from that jewelry heist last week... )
Gordon - I also told them you'd probably be in London before I had a chance to turn you over to them for questioning.
( Batman - Thanks, Jim. You keep sticking your neck out for me. )
Gordon - You keep making it worth my while.

Who is Bruce Wayne?
Young Bruce Wayne would often watch the television adventures of the Gray Ghost with his father. Bruce would take many ideas from this show later.
On the way home from seeing the film, The Mark of Zorro, Bruce Wayne watched as his parents were gunned down by a mugger. Some say that Bruce died that night with his parents, and in his place, The Batman was born. (Batman once told Wonder Woman that he hadn't been a "kid" since he was eight years old.) Young Master Bruce was taken home to Wayne Manor, where he was raised by the Waynes' faithful friend and butler, Alfred Pennyworth.
