Karneval ep 1
Project Overview
I plan on doing a fandub of the entire Karneval anime series, which means 13 episodes in all.
I have never done whole anime episodes before, just scenes with only my voice up untill now, so please be patient with me. This audition is only for characters from episode 1, i will be doing them one at a time.
Episodes will be uploaded on Youtube or a similar site.
Also, i'm not looking for the voices to sound like the official english dub, but instead be closer to the Japanese dub, with some exceptions like Nai whom i would prefer to be voiced by a girl, but guys may still try out if they'd like.
How to pronounce the characters:
Gareki(Ga-reh-key)Ga is pronounced like gah, Reh is pronounced like red and Ki like key.
Hirato(Hi-rah-toe) Hi is pronounced like He, Ra like Rah, and To like Toe.
Tsukumo(Soo-Koo-Moe)Soo is pronounced like soon, Koo like coo, and Moe like mow.
Mine(Mii-nay)
Karoku(kah-ro-koo)Ka is pronounced like car, Ro like row, and Ku like coo.
Erisyuka(Eri-shuka) Eri is pronounced like the name Eli but with R instead and Shu is pronounced like Shoe, and Ka is pronounced like car.
Uro(Ur-oe)
Tsukitachi(soo-kee-tah-chee)Soo is pronounced like soon, Kee like keep, Tah like in ah with T in front, And Chee like cheese.
Kiichi(Key-chee)Kii is prononced like key and Chi like chee in cheese.
Jiki(Jee-key) Jee is pronounced like gee, and Ki like key.
Akari(Ah-kah-ree)A is pronounced like Ah, Kah like in car, and ree like in reeve.
Tsubaki(Soo-Bah-kee)
Tsubame(Soo-Bah-meh)
Yotaka(Yoh-Tah-Kah) Yoh is pronounced like in Yoyo, Tah like ah, and Kah like in car.
Meiga(May-Gah)
Nyanperona(Ny is pronounced like knee, An like the name Ann, Pe like in person, Ro like in row, and Na like in banana.

is the CEO of Gardo Corporation and Erisyuka 's grandfather. He is also a member of Kafka, the organization who creates the monsters called Varuga.
Voice type: gruff old man voice.
In order for the company to survive laying off workers was inevitable. You say that is evil, but you are doing even worse by getting my innocent grandaughter involved in this.
Speaking of which, i saw someone interesting. He seems to have unique ears. He resembles "him" a bit. Can you capture him? Hirato of Circus seems to have an interes in him too."
Voice type: low, sexy and charismatic
Uro is a enigmatic man with a double personality.
He appears very polite and gentlemanly towards regular people and his superiors.
However, he is cold and ruthless towards subordinates. He is also willing to kill underlings in the event they fail an assignment.
He is easily able to switch between his heartless, cruel personality and his convival, kind personality.
He already likes you very much. Miss Erisyuka is 14 years old and Sir Karoku is 18 years old. Based on your ages you two make a great match.
Circus, toys of the cowardly government. They've captured people who where drawn to us. But those people know nothing. Just like lizard tails. We can easily replace them. But, for the tails, we, the body, are something they long for eternally.
Why are you guys so stupid? *deadly but calm* Do you have a death wish?
Voice type: high, soft and quiet, an emotionless type of voice.
Tsukumo is kind and strong, she can hold her own in battle and is very dedicated and loyal to Circus. She together with Yogi, look after Nai and Gareki.
Why us? Is it because you think we aren't as good as the others?
Nai, you have a very strong heart, you have gone through so much, yet you never give up. I think it's great that you can be kind to others at all times. I feel at ease when i'm with you, Nai. I'm sure everyone, even Karoku feels the same."

Voice type: Inoccent, child-like voice
Nai is very kind and innocent, although very naive, he does not know anything about the world around him and is confused by very simple terms.
when Gareki first found him, Nai didn't know what blood was, referring to it as "red water".
He is however not a coward and would not hesitate to protect his "friends" whom he is very loyal to.
The voice should sound natural and not forced, can be played by either gender, i don't mind,
so long as the voice fits his character.
*quiet and sad* Gareki, i don't need you. Gareki, i don't....*long pause* Gareki's sca... *Calling out to Gareki* Ga...! Gareki! *Sob uncontrolably*
Gareki was saved by Tsubaki too, and they became family because of the bond they share. And kindess is the foundation for that bond isn't it? But have i been ever kind to others?"
I-i'm going no metter what. *raise your voice* I must! Otherwise Karoku will die!! Karoku said to come right away, *determined* so if i have to i'll go alone.
Voice type: Medium-low, sultry.
As Varuga: creepier while still sounding like the original voice.
*seductivly giggle* Are you nervous?
Are you with Circus? Not possible, is it. You're just an little thief, aren't you?
*as Varuga* If i don't eat enough, i won't be able to keep up. *make a creepy sound as you open your mouth*
Voice type: Medium-low
A teenage boy who gets by robbing rich people's mansions. Gareki's very intelligent and sharp, his strong point is his vast knowledge about mechanics as he was able to deactivate bombs or create one with gun powder.
He's also a skilled shooter and talented hacker. Gareki is a lone wolf type character who Distrusts people and isn't very sociable. Despite his attitude, he does care about others deep inside, but he would never admit it and doesn't show it because he doesn't want them to know
Tsubaki saved my life. And her little brother and sister are Yotaka and Tsubame. Tsubaki was betrayed and killed by the man she loved, i don't know his face, but if i ever meet him, i will kill him without fail."
*annoyed* Shut up... You're annoying, stop kidding with me! D*mn you. Who gives a sh*t about Nyanperona?! It's just a stupid costume to dress up in! I don't have any interest in this junk!"
*angry and frustrated*I know d*mn it! There isn't much i can do! But i wanted to change. I wanted to go out there and prove myself. But in the end, what have i achived? Place i want to return to? I don't have such a place, nor the right to go there."
Voice type: low, charismatic and cool.
The captain of the second ship, he is very calm and cool headed, but has a playful streak and likes teasing and messing with people sometimes,
especially with Dr.Akari.
Is it your way of showing consideration by choosing targets, who earned their riches through dirty means? I wonder why you need such great amounts of money. *Chuckle* Oh sorry, I have no intention of persecuting you."
*slightly mocking* You belong to those that protect lives, and i to those that take them away. A difference of opinions between us is inevitable.

Karoku is the one Nai is looking for. Karoku used to live Together with Nai secluded from the rest of the world in Niji Forest.
*very gentle* Nai, come here.
To be able to make friends with somebody, that's my boy! But.... let's say goodbye to him. You should tell him. "Gareki, I don't need you! You wouldn't want him to be dragged into the scary things you're involved in....... and get broken, would you?
