Dinosaur Planet was a game that was developed by Rareware and Nintendo soon after Rare's success with 'Conker's Bad Fur Day', 'Donkey Kong Country', 'Banjo Kazooie' and other titles. It was supposed to be Rare's swan song to the N64 before heading up to the next-gen with the Gamecube. The game pushed the N64's hardware limitations to the max with detailed animations, large environments, and tons of voice acting.
The story of Dinosaur Planet follows two characters who must save a planet in peril by returning six sacred stones to the Force Point Temples, all the while facing many dangerous challenges such as an evil tyrant, a giant, destructive dragon, and the Majestic Eight.
Rareware was soon sold to Microsoft while Nintendo made money off what was left of the masterpiece called Dinosaur Planet, rebranding it as Star Fox Adventures. Nearly 1/2 of the original content was cut and the storyline of Starfox Adventures became a plothole ridden mess. The story of Rareware's last game is not forgotten, even after many years had passed and now we are here to pay tribute to one of the greatest gaming mysteries of all time.
