I will give you a brief explanation of what the song should be about, sending you some scenes if required. I will also give the emotions the song must convey as well as the style. It will then be up to you to put some songs together and I will choose one. Please keep in mind if I do not choose a song initially, it could still be chosen for a future episode. Your songs will play throughout the credits.
I would prefer one year exclusivity to the song, starting from the day the episode goes live, but we can discuss a higher payment for full rights to them.

When you sang 'You are my Sunshine', one scene immediately popped into my head. Obviously we can't use that as it would cost a fortune to license, unless the show does well. I may be able to use something like that for a certain episode end credits scene.
A few questions I need answered please.
Can you write your own Lyrics?
Can you compose your own music? No problem if not as I can commission a musician to compose a backing track?
What is your preferred style? What genre would you consider yourself best at?
I will be taking on quite a few singers and musicians and will be asking them just to do a small sample of what I ask for. I will then choose whoever's song or composition fits the episode best to create a full paid version.

I listened to the songs you linked. I loved the nightingale to the stars one and it did make me think of a scene. The same scene I mentioned earlier. It was a little repetitive though as the song stayed the same throughout in tone.
I preferred the tune of the second one but preferred the words of the first.
I am not saying none of these styles won't work. It's very hard to say right now but I may possibly ask for a few samples in the future and maybe turn some of them into paid full tracks.
What I want to do is create the episode first then send all the singers and musicians some scenes and the style it needs to be to create the song about. They then create a small 30 second sample for me and I choose what fits best to turn into a full song or track.
